U Fintech is sponsored by Eduint, the Dhaka-based AI-driven capital-markets technology group founded by the former COO of UCB Stock Brokerage Limited — Bangladesh's #1 brokerage house. Through Eduint, U Fintech inherits a production-grade software stack (deployed live as Abaci Investments and Ekush AMC) and a signed co-onboarding partnership with UCB Stock Brokerage Limited.

Operationally, the company is led by Managing Director Mr. Anirban Das Gupta — a 20-year veteran spanning all three regulated domains the platform serves: capital markets, banking and insurance.

CFA charterholder since 2013 with close to two decades across asset management, merchant banking, equity research, portfolio management and brokerage. Former Chief Operating Officer of UCB Stock Brokerage Limited (2018–2026) — Bangladesh's #1 brokerage house. Earlier roles include Head of Portfolio Management at BRAC EPL Investments, Head of Research at Prime Bank Investment Limited, and Fund Manager at Prime Finance AMC, where he co-launched Bangladesh's first private-sector open-ended mutual fund (2010).
